The Yurt-sitters

The Crew has just returned from their 12 mile hike in camp. Jillian and Mikey are meeting with National Staff today but first it's Shower Day! Yay! 

Their German friends are away at an overnight Swedish National Camp and asked 70310 to "housesit" their yerts. Yerts are amazing tents like little houses. Their patrols sleep together, 10 in a tent, and they have 2 huge ones plus one for cooking and one for eating. Our girls may do a slumber party in the dining yert since it's empty. The Germs didn't use the large dining fly provided by Sweden because it just didn't measure up to their own yerts! 40 people can easily fit in one yert. More later!

The Sun is out!

Last night they ate with Czechs and they are "super cuties". Dining with the Welsh tonight. This morning they ate with the Germans, also "cuties".
Her phone is fully charged from bathroom visits to brush her teeth as they do not shower everyday :) Internet is working well. More to follow as I receive it!

Hello to Everyone back home:

Having a great time! Even though it has not stopped raining since 6 this morning. Meeting lots of scouts from all over. My patrol went and had dinner with an English group tonight-funniest people ever! Tomorrow we have activities from 10 am- 2 am THE NEXT DAY, but Saturday we have a free day and we've all decided to nap :)

Hopefully I can get a picture tomorrow without getting my phone wet.

Their subcamp is located in Karlstad, Sweden.
