3am Portugal unit arrived in the next site and setup site till 5am. All quiet now. Time for a run. France next door. Uk across the road. Dinner day one fruit, juice, turkey sandwiches. 5 hrs of darkness. A whole new world to explore today.

Leaving SFO
Crew 70310 made it out of SFO with 36 scouts and 4 leaders, well organized and performing in patrols and as a whole crew. Very impressive ground support by parents in SFO. Thanks to families: Nguyen, Virgin, Tharrett, Thresher, Rettinhouse. Very excited lot of teenagers ready for the world.
